Der VfL Benrath 06 e.V. hat für das Projekt der Digitalisierung eine Vollförderung aus dem Förderprogramm zur Digitalisierung von Sportorganisationen durch EFRE-Fördermittel der EU und der Bezirksregierung Düsseldorf erhalten.
Damit wird den Trainern ermöglicht ihre Trainings- und Wettkampfbedingungen effektiver zu gestalten und zudem der Vereinsverwaltung eine bessere digitale Infrastruktur bereitzustellen und zu nutzen, um durch digitale Techniken Synergien zu erzeugen. Zusätzlich ist es eine Erweiterung der Präsentationsmöglichkeiten bei Versammlungen, Veranstaltungen, Meisterschaften und Schulungen.
Der VfL kann durch diese Förderung einen wesentlichen Schritt in eine moderne digitale Schulung und Trainingsmöglichkeiten, sowie einer Verbesserung seiner digitalen Vereinsangebote umsetzen.
